These new engines of all makes are running so lean you can not running them without an air filter which makes it hard to do carb work on some of them. On some engines I have had to make a special filter set up to do carb work.

It is surging and does not idle up above 3550 rpm with the blades off. The rpm goes up and down 100 to 150 rpm just idling with blades off. It idles rough when blades are on also. This problem comes up whenever I try to accelerate really fast. It will get to around 9k RPM and then just completely sputter and bog down, and then the power surges up and down. Once I'm driving there seems to be no fuel delivery problems and the mule runs strong.
