Just as survivable as bruiser Kha'Zix if you position right (probably more), does more damage than lethality Kha'Zix. The only reason people don't play this way and abuse Hullbreaker is because no one has told them to yet and the overwhelming majority of players don't think for themselves. Take advantage of it before the Hullbreaker changes.
Late game: Whoever is more fed / Bruiser Rengar If it's assassin vs assassin, it becomes a who can one shot faster and have the jump on the enemy player. If the Rengar goes bruiser, with ~3k hp and a Zhonias then I feel rengar wins overall. But usually its who is more fed and gets the jump on the enemy. Playing bruiser Kha'Zix is a little different then how he was designed to be played. Normally, as an assassin, Kha'zix is supposed to jump into a team fight and finish off any enemies on low health. I used to be a former Kha'zix main but I can't get back into playing him because I don't know how to build him anymore. Last season was so simple…I'm a kha main lurking on this sub for a while because playing the cat is fun. Insect is not in a good spot rn, heck tank mythics work better than assassin and bruiser ones for him currently so this patch is mostly cat favored. Bola now revealing invis is a whole different problem for the bug as well.Kha offtank still works well and is incredibly flexible. Its similar to Kayn in choosing between Rhaast and Blue but Kha can pick more invisibility, better duels, or big team fight slows. He is still going to be doing assassin things but he will be very hard to lock down and duel. Its all about playstyle. Vi is a bruiser, so assassins will perform quite poorly in terms of 1v1s. If you want to duel her you should either play someone like udyr or xhin zhao or a ranged champ that can dodge her q as that’s her engage. She doesn’t scale great so as a general rule don’t force fights unless you know you win. 3. The problem with bruiser kha is that khazix doesn't use tank stats very efficiently. Compared to other bruisers like jarvan renek Darius irelea etc. kha doesn't have a lot of things that they do: free armor/hp, free armor shred, true damage, cc, %hp and/or %armor/Mr scaling. Those are built into bruiser kits to help bruisers be bruisers.
